Hello, my name is Emily (pronouns: she/her) and I genuinely love the work of therapy, both as a client and as a practitioner. I believe effective therapy begins with a safe and authentic counselor-client connection and includes heart and humor whenever possible. A Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), I specialize in relationships – whether romantic or sexual, the relationship you have with your new or growing family, your family of origin, career, friends, or your relationship with yourself.

I work with adult clients of all ages for individual and couples/relationship therapy, and adolescents ages 12 and up.

Using techniques primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, art therapy, and EMDR, I work to meet individual and relationship needs using a trauma-informed lens where safety is the priority. Your therapy goals are as important to me as they are to you, and my ultimate hope is that you will experience a great sense of joy and pleasure, and less shame. We will work together to determine a comfortable pace for self-exploration and expansion.
